걸어온 길

Born in Seoul, he moved to the United States as a child and worked as a club rapper before coming to Korea. After debuting in 1994 with Dr. Reggae, he took on rap, chorus and songwriting work for various singers.

After first handling vocals on Yoon Mi-rae's solo album track 〈끝없는 바다 저편에〉, he shifted his focus to singing. He became known to the public in 2004 with an album whose title track was 〈고래의 꿈〉.

He kept up his popularity with songs such as 〈사랑..그 놈〉 and 〈남자답게〉, and appeared on MBC's 《나는 가수다》 in 2011. He was also a member of the hip-hop group Buga Kingz.

In January 2015, he was indicted on charges of causing a disturbance while drunk on a flight to the United States and molesting a flight attendant. On June 11 of that year, the Incheon District Court sentenced him to a fine of 4 million won and 40 hours of sexual violence treatment programs.
