걸어온 길

She was born in Cheongju, North Chungcheong. In December 2017 she was revealed as the tenth member of LOONA, and officially debuted with the group in 2018.

In 2023 she signed with ATRP and made her solo debut in October with her first mini album 《Howl》. She released 《Strawberry Rush》 in 2024 and 《Only Cry in the Rain》 in 2025.

In January 2026 she released her first full-length album 《XO, My Cyberlove》, whose title track depicts the emotions between humans and AI. Her contract with ATRP ended in July that year.

In late 2021 she filed for an injunction to suspend the effect of her contract with Blockberry Creative. On November 25, 2022, the agency announced her removal from the group, citing reports of verbal abuse toward staff, and Chuu stated that she had done nothing to be ashamed of. In the lawsuit seeking confirmation that her exclusive contract had no effect, Chuu won at the first trial in August 2023 and on appeal in March 2024, and the agency appealed to the Supreme Court.
