걸어온 길

Dok2 started performing on stage at a young age and made songs for several hip-hop artists from his teens. Released an album in 2006 with Microdot as All Black.

Started solo activities with a mixtape in 2008 and released the first EP 《Thunderground》 on Map the Soul in 2009. Founded Illionaire Records in 2011 and released a full-length 1st album.

Became known to the public by serving as a producer on 《Show Me the Money 3》 in 2014. The full-length 2nd album 《Multillionaire》 in 2015 and 〈1llusion〉 in 2016 reached the top of the charts.

In October 2019 a US jewelry company sued Illionaire over unpaid fees, and the claim was dismissed in July 2020. In July 2022 a court-ordered mediation set installment payments of the unpaid amount, and in April 2026 the company claimed only one payment had been made. In March 2026 founded 808 HI RECORDINGS with Lee Hi and released the single 〈You & Me〉.
