걸어온 길

He grew up in several countries because of his father's work and released the EP 《Rock Trip》 in 2010. On 《슈퍼스타K 4》 in 2012 he stuck to rock stages and finished third.

He began official activities in October 2013 with 〈병이에요〉 and his first mini album. In 2014 he released the second mini album 《Teenager》, which he made entirely himself.

He formed the rock band Jung Joon-young Band in 2015 and renamed it Drug Restaurant in 2016. He released his first full-length album 《1인칭》 in February 2017, and has appeared on KBS's 《1박 2일》 since 2013.

In March 2019, the sharing of illegally filmed material in a group chat room came to light, and he retired and was arrested. He received six years in prison at first instance in November 2019 and five years on appeal in May 2020; the sentence was finalized by the Supreme Court in September 2020, and he was released on completing his term on March 19, 2024.
