걸어온 길

He made his name as a vocalist for the 1980s rock bands Boohwal and Sinawe.

He released his first solo album 《REHTONA》 in 1992 and became very popular with 〈대답없는 너〉. The next year 〈겨울비〉, a new arrangement of a song from his Sinawe days, was also loved.

He took part in Seo Taiji and Boys' fourth album track 〈Free Style〉 in 1995, and 〈아름다운 구속〉 from the 1996 fifth album became a hit. He is counted among the first generation of Korean heavy metal vocalists.

In 2023 he became the reigning champion with four straight wins on MBC's 《복면가왕》 as "First-Class Special Agent," and also appeared on MBN's 《불꽃밴드》 with the Kim Jong-seo Band.
