걸어온 길

She grew up in Los Angeles and began singing in a church choir. While attending UCLA she came to Korea and debuted in 1998 with her 1st album 《Piece》, produced by Yoon Jong-shin.

She was not fluent in Korean at her debut, but drew attention singing ballads with an R&B style of singing. On her 5th album 《On & On》, she composed four songs herself and also took part in arranging.

〈꿈에〉 from her 2002 4th album 《Op.4》 was greatly loved, and she performed on a World Cup stage. Her 2011 appearance on MBC's 《나는 가수다》 drew major attention again.

In 2019 she released her 9th full-length album 《The Wonder》, her first in seven years. In November 2025 she released a new single through Bonbu Entertainment and held a solo concert.
