걸어온 길

She was born in Seoul and emigrated to the U.S. in the fourth grade of elementary school. She took a leave from UCLA, returned to Korea and debuted in September 2009 with 〈머리 아파〉.

She mastered difficult dance styles such as popping and breaking and gave intense performances. With 〈마녀가 된 이유〉 from her 2012 mini album 《Neo Spirit》, she presented a femme fatale concept.

〈If You Love Me〉, featuring Jay Park, reached No. 16 on the chart in 2012. In 2014 she promoted the mini album 《The Way 2..》 and 〈설렘주의〉 with Giriboy.

When she switched to acting in 2018, she began using her Korean name, Kim Yoon-ji. In 2021 she re-recorded 〈If You Love Me〉 with MONSTA X's Joohoney, and she appeared in the Netflix film 《Lift》, released in 2024.
