걸어온 길

He was born in Busan and grew up in Bukahyeon-dong, Seoul. In high school he sang and played guitar in a rock band.

At the end of 1994 he released his first album 《Virgin Flight》 as the first singer of Jina Planning, led by Tae Jin-ah. 〈포기하지마〉 became a big hit.

He kept his popularity going with 〈애인 만들기〉 and 〈너의 얘기를〉. In 1995 he also sang the theme song for the animation 〈Sonic the Hedgehog〉.

While promoting his fourth album 《돌아보지마》 in 1999, he ended his contract with Jina Planning over an alleged violation of the Road Traffic Act and stopped his activities. He released his fifth album in 2004 and returned in 2009 with the trot song 〈딱이야〉.
