걸어온 길

He made a name for himself at the 10th MBC College Music Festival in 1986. He officially debuted in 1990 with his self-written first album 〈아에이오우〉.

A singer-songwriter who both sings and composes, he mainly created clear, fairy-tale-like lyrical songs.

〈산골 소년의 사랑이야기〉 from his 1992 second album became a long-loved signature song. He moved to the U.S. in 1993 to study contemporary music, and released his third album in 1997 and his fourth in 2001.

From September 2000 he held concerts at small branch schools in remote areas across the country. In 2007 he released 《OPUS》, which featured new arrangements of his hits plus new songs.
