걸어온 길

Born in Texas, U.S., she debuted in 1997 as 'Tasha,' a member of the hip-hop group Uptown. After some Uptown members were arrested on drug charges in 2000, the group's activities stopped.

She made her solo debut in September 2001 with her first album 《As Time Goes By》, and reached No. 1 on SBS 《인기가요》 in January 2002 with 〈시간이 흐른 뒤〉.

She won two awards at the 2007 Korean Music Awards for her third album 《Yoonmirae》. In 2013 she formed MFBTY with Tiger JK and Bizzy and performed under Feel Ghood Music.

She was also loved for drama OSTs such as 〈Touch Love〉 for 《주군의 태양》 and 〈Always〉 for 《태양의 후예》. In December 2014 she announced legal action over the unauthorized use of 〈Pay Day〉 in the film 《The Interview》, and in May 2015 reached a settlement with Sony Pictures.
