Our top story: TWICE's Nayeon is getting ready for a solo comeback in late November. Her agency, JYP, confirmed the news today. It will be her first solo album in about two years and five months. The exact date and songs are not out yet. A solo singer is 솔로 가수, and to get ready is 준비하다.

Next, singer Crush released a new digital single today at 6 p.m., and IU joined him on the song. It is Crush's first release in about fourteen months. In the music video, IU plays the sadness inside him. When two singers sing together, we call it 듀엣, and together with someone is 함께.
제니 '드라큘라', 빌보드 핫100 5위
BLACKPINK's Jennie is high on the Billboard charts. Her song 'Dracula' with Tame Impala went up one place to number five on the Billboard Hot 100. That ties its best rank so far. On the same chart, KATSEYE's 'Animal' rose to number 28. In Korean, a rank is 순위, and number five is 5위.
에이투오 라이트, 데뷔 일주일 만에 2관왕
Rookie girl group A2O LITE is having a great first week. Just seven days after their debut, they won first place on the music show 'The Show' with their song 'Neon'. Then today they won again on 'Show Champion'. In Korean, a new group is 신인, and winning two trophies is 2관왕.
알파드라이브원, 후속곡 '토크 투 미' 싱글로
ALPHA DRIVE ONE will keep promoting their album with a new song. 'Talk to Me', a track from their second EP, comes out as a single on October 22nd, and the music video follows next week. Their album in August sold over one million copies. A follow-up song is 후속곡, and an album sale count is 판매량.

K팝 음반, 1~9월 7,900만 장 팔려
Finally, some big numbers. From January to September this year, K-POP albums sold about 79 million copies. That is about 7.6 million more than last year. Now the question is whether sales can reach 100 million by the end of the year. To count albums in Korean, we use 장, so 7,900만 장 means 79 million copies.
