걸어온 길

Born into a pansori family, he majored in gayageum at the Gugak National High School. He debuted in 1994 with his 1st album 《My First Story》 and 〈늪〉.

He is known for a distinctive singing style that leads with a male high falsetto. Because he did not show his face, he was also called the 'faceless singer'.

〈꽃밭에서〉 and 〈님은 먼 곳에〉 from his 1995 remake album 《Memory》 were greatly loved. 〈영원〉 from his 1996 3rd album was also popular.

He released his 9th full-length album 《다시 시작》 in 2018. He has also appeared as an actor in films such as 《Detective K》 and 《Inseparable Bros》.
