걸어온 길

She first debuted as an actress in 1996 as the lead of the film 〈꽃잎〉. After featuring on Jo PD's 〈Fever〉 in 1999, she debuted as a singer in October of that year with her 1st full-length album.

She decorated her stage with Eastern props such as a folding fan and a hairpin, and a pinky-finger microphone. By changing the concept for each song, she was called the 'Techno Warrior'.

She led a techno craze with 〈와〉 and 〈바꿔〉 from her 1st album, and 〈너〉 and 〈줄래〉 from her 2nd album in 2000 were also popular. In 2004 she appeared on Japan's NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen.

From the 2010s on she mainly appeared in films. She won Best Actress at the 2015 Blue Dragon Film Awards and directed a short film herself in 2025.
