Group Story
A six-member group formed by Daesung Planning (now DSP Media), debuting in April 1997. Their debut song was '학원별곡' (School Anthem).
They gained popularity with powerful group choreography and bright dance songs like '폼생폼사'. Together with H.O.T., they formed the first-generation idol rivalry.
In 1998, shared the Seoul Music Awards daesang with H.O.T. for 'Couple (커플)'. Announced the group's disbandment at a press conference on May 18, 2000.
A 2016 variety show performance brought them back together after 16 years, and they became active under YG. They released their first mini album as a four-member group in 2020, and their contract with YG ended in March 2024.
