HANWAVE

HANWAVE · “Ride the Wave, Find Your Story.”

Five members, each with their own story, have become one wave. A boy group that proudly shares Korean lyrics and Korean culture with the world.

Members

Group Story

Meaning of the Name — 韓 (Han, "Korea") + Wave. A wave that carries Korea's stories to the world.

Concept — Navy × Gold. A brotherly team singing about the anxieties, dreams and comfort of youth. Each member has a distinct personality, and they write their own songs and choreography.

Doyun, who rapped while studying philosophy, gathered the members with the idea: “Let's tell the world our story in our own language.” That's also why they debuted on Hangul Day. Their debut song “Ride the Wave” is set up as an alternative hip-hop track blending gugak rhythms, about how “even small waves, gathered together, cross the sea.”

“Like a wave, HANWAVE!”
